Norwegian whalers have made their first kill, beginning the world's largest overtly commercial whale hunt, targeting 1052 minke whales, despite falling demand for whale meat.

Japanese Whalers Kill Again
Reports from Australian media suggest that the Japanese whalers in the Southern Ocean have killed at least 5 of what are believed to be minke whales since protesters left the area.
